I needed a short length of aluminium round to make some bearing press plates to install some hub bearings.
Since I don't have a press I made the plates to suit my chassis punch rated at 16T.
It is really convenient to ne able to buy an actual length you will use and not have heaps leftover.
The cuts are nice and straight requiring minimal time to face up.
It would be great if you guys could offer a cutting service too as my cheap little band saw struggled with the 100mm diameter stock.
Anyway I made what I set out to make at an affordable price, in quick time and turned the job around faster than if I'd shopped it out.
Delivery was fast enough as well.
Definitely will be my go to for stock.

Without question, these guys are absolutely fantastic. They have a great range of reasonably priced offcuts and new stock.
I've ordered offcuts and stock from the team and have it delivered cheaper than I can buy it locally. Measurements are always dead on and often favor marginally longer. Cut marks are very clean and square.
Items are always well packed to ensure nothing is marked.
Recently purchase some 6061 billet and bar for precision astronomy project.
Arrived promptly and perfect for now completed job.
It is great to be able to purchase small amounts of aluminium and particularly billet off-cuts for projects as required.

like that i can buy 7075 T6 alloy in large off cuts to make some super strong project and parts at a good price, and fast to send out. And get some standard 6061 Alloy as well..
